The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA might be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regard to the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The company point made for intervention activities a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
